i want a funky yet sexy with highlights does anybody know what would work for medium brown hair.

red covers funky and sexy. and also goes well with mid brown. you could either have highlights as you suggested, or go for dyeing all of your bottom layers, leaving the top brown, so red pokes out the bottom and shows through gently.

or just your top layer, so the red splays out, over the top of your brown hair.

you could also go for a darker brown, or a slight purple. the dark brown will blend well, and give you a range of tones.

Hey :) gosh ima try to help!Im going to beauty school this comming year for hair and makeup and such!My friend has medium brown hair so highlights arent such a problem,you can try..

*Carmel Brown highlights which will look elegant/cute

*Light Blonde to bring out a fresh preppy look

*Dark brown for a more edgy/laidback

*or you can always put burgandy!its an attention getter and looks pretty cute in tha summer!
